DoIT enabled mandatory multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all Hampton University faculty, using Microsoft Authenticator to add a time-based one-time passcode (TOTP) alongside each account password at sign-in; staff accounts had already been enabled ahead of the faculty rollout on February 24, 2025.
