Police Officer requirements
- U.S. citizen, 21 or older
- High school diploma
- Valid Virginia driver’s license
- Pass physical agility, polygraph, and psychological exams
- Complete the Hampton Roads Regional Academy of Criminal Justice
Security Officer requirements
- U.S. citizen, 21 or older
- High school diploma
- Complete Security Officer State Certification
All applicants undergo a thorough background investigation and substance abuse screening.
